Chiang Mai’s wonderful waterfalls

Today’s post is by Chiang Mai best https://chiangmaibest and is about the waterfalls in Chiang Mai - http://chiangmaibest.com/the-best-waterfalls-in-chiang-mai/

“Chiang Mai’s nature is best known for forested mountains, several lakes and a good variety of scenic hiking trails. Lesser known but equally beautiful are Chiang Mai’s wonderful waterfalls that come in different shapes and sizes.”

1) Bua Tong Sticky Waterfalls - https://goo.gl/maps/mEfcZidF5uE2 - whether the nickname is because of the level of calcium in the water or because you will get sticky we cannot confirm

2) Mae Sa Waterfall - https://goo.gl/maps/cQpGLkUvTgF2  - 10 levels of waterfalls, wonderful, but can be busy on holidays or the weekends

3) Huay Kaew Waterfall - https://goo.gl/maps/QuSHRVV11jx - very photogenic

4) Mae Ya Waterfall - https://goo.gl/maps/h9BHrzquxNT2 - located in the middle of Doi Intahanon National Park but worth the trek.

5) Mae Takhrai Waterfall - https://goo.gl/maps/5FFRu3MA9x72 - surrounded by a tropical rain forest and a selection of plants and fowers which bloom in glorious colours.

Here is a map of their locations with regards to each other - http://bit.ly/2GPt4o7
